Scopo e Attività
- Responsible for ensuring that Company's operational processes and procedures comply with sector regulations and assures the identification
- Ensure compliance with UCITS Regulations, Capital Market Act, AML, data privacy and other applicable local laws, as well as Internal Regulations and Group Procedures
- Update and amend the Compliance Manual and Plan and produce and implement Action Plans
- Monitors and, on a regular basis, performs the assessment of the adequacy and effectiveness of the measures, policies and procedures and the actions taken to address any deficiencies in the Management Company’s compliance to applicable external and internal regulations
- Provide advisory and assistance services to the company's governance and assurance functions in all fields on which the compliance risk has impact (i.e. launch of new products and services)
- Monitors on a permanent basis changes in the applicable laws and regulations and informs the Management Board when applicable of the potential impacts for the Company and for the products of changes in such laws and regulations
- Provides support to Company’s functions regarding the implementation of laws and regulations, measures taken by the Authorities and self-regulation policies, in particular with regard to conflict of interest situations
- Cooperates with Risk Management department in order to define tools and methodologies to be used for identifying, measuring, and evaluating compliance risks
- Ensures the compliance with the internal code of conduct.
- Identifies training needs for staff members required by law, defining the content, provision modes and ensuring the provision of such training within her/his remit
- Manages the register of client’s claims
- Provides reporting and information flows to corresponding function of the Parent Company
- Oversees the proper functioning of the governance mechanisms for controlling the outsourcer
- Manage the relations, in agreement with Management, with the Company's Supervisory Authorities and monitoring fulfilment of periodical regulatory reporting
- Carry out the annual compliance assessment and producing any other report for the Supervisory Board when applicable
- Ensure compliance with FATCA and CRS requirements
Esperienza Richiesta
The ideal candidate has 7-10 years relevant work experience in Banking and Finance Sector, preferably in Capital Markets / Asset Management
Competenze Richieste
- University degree, preferably in Law
- Fluent in Croatian
- English at a very good level
- Italian (nice to have)
- Proficient in identifying applicable regulations in order to ensure that compliance risk is adequately monitored and managed, making sure that Company's operational processes and procedures comply with sector regulations
- Able to effectively assess and manage as well as anticipate compliance breaches by working closely with the relevant units in order to identify corrective actions
- Capable of preparing and carrying out activities of the annual AML plan, ensuring those activities are adequately monitored and managed
- Able to effectively manage meetings and inspections carried out by Regulatory Bodies and/or Internal Audit
- Capable of identifying and carrying out the necessary education of the Company staff
