Scope and purpose
The candidate will run his/her own risk-taking strategies in his/her individual book, where the objective will be for a yearly PnL of > than 2.0 mln after having agreed with Management a precise risk framework. Furthermore he/she will help generate trade ideas and strategies that might be shared with colleagues and potentially deployed in one of the Equity Portfolio management books..
Experience required
From 6 to 10 years of autonomous risk-taking
Skills and competences required
- The candidate should possess track record in Equity trading in a professional financial institution (banks, HFs, asset managers, etc),
- He/she should have an excellent top-down approach for EU markets and US market a plus. He/she should be comfortable in managing both RV and outright equity strategies.
- He/she will run an individual trading book and participate fully in the research and the implementation of the desk trading strategies.
- Bachelor Degree in Financial Disciplines, Master and CFA a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with particular focus on bottom-up analysis in single stocks and sectors;
- The candidate should be able in developing new trading and hedging strategies and working on different projects, while being an excellent team player within Desk.
- He/She should possess strong ability to work under pressure and deliver results smoothly and on time
- Programming skills a plus (VBA, Matlab, Python)
