IBD - Benchmarking & Commercial Planning - Internship

Introduction

We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical intern to join the IBD – Benchmarking & Commercial Planning team within the Planning & Control Department of the International Banks Division.
The selected candidate will support the team in monitoring commercial performance across the Division’s international banks, contributing to reporting activities, business analysis, and strategic insights generation.
This internship represents a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of business and finance, working in a dynamic and international environment with exposure to senior stakeholders and cross-country initiatives.

Activities

The intern will be involved in the following activities:
- Monitor and analyze key commercial KPIs across international banks
- Contribute to the preparation of weekly and monthly commercial performance reports
- Support performance review processes and business discussions through data-driven analysis
- Take part in ongoing initiatives aimed at enhancing reporting processes and improving data quality

Requirements

• Degree in Economics, Finance or related fields
• Strong interest in the banking sector and performance analysis
• Solid analytical and quantitative skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint, 
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) is considered a plus
