Introduction

 

We are looking for people who have just graduated and are interested in Finance/Asset Management.

You will be involved in the Real & Alternative Assets team, working for the Investment Departments of Eurizon Capital SGR. The intern will join a team focused on the European securitization market. The intern will be an active member of the investment team, working alongside senior professionals with opportunity to contribute throughout the investment cycle. The intern will have the ability to gain exposure to Eurizon's REAA Credit platform (ABS, Leveraged Loan, HY).

Activities and tasks

The intern will assist Fund Managers across the different credit funds in making investments decisions. Responsibilities include carrying out qualitative & quantitative analysis of potential primary & secondary investment opportunities and helping monitor securities held in the portfolios..

You will be involved into the following activities:

  • Move in a comprehensive set of securitized products (ABS/RMBS/CMBS/CLO), to learn the different aspects of each market, to form investment ideas and to monitor portfolios.
  • Participate in the setup, evaluation, execution, and management of an investment's lifecycle through new issue and secondary transactions.
  • Provide quantitative and analytical support to Fund Managers investing in securitized prooducts.
  • Perform fundamental research on securitized deals and relative-value analysis to reach investment conclusions and make recommendations.
  • Track bond spreads and price movements of securities held in portfolios.
  • Produce periodic sector updates and daily market information, as well as ad hoc client and internal presentations.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or in the Management field
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
  • Fluent English and Italian
  • Desire to develop strong analytical capabilities, learn legal documentation and work on complex transactions
  • It will constitute a plus:
    • A background in credit products
    • Experience in VB or Python programming, SQL, and technology systems development for structured finance applications

  • to Clearly articulate his/her point of view verbally and in writing, fostering confidence when sharing/presenting information.
  • to Balance workload and prioritizes effectively
  • to Take initiative in contributing to the team whilst at the same time operating harmoniously and constructively within it
