Fideuram Asset Management UK Limited is located in London and is registered with the Financial Conduct Authority to manage and advise on investments for its clients. It manages €5.5 billion and oversees an additional €14.5bn third-party managers.

 

Purpose and activities

 

Fideuram Asset Management UK Limited is now looking to recruit an enthusiastic Middle Office and Trade Support Specialist.

The successful candidate will be required to carry out the following core tasks:

  • Perform order management processes on monthly index rebalancing function.
  • Develop and perform post-trade position and valuation controls by liaising with outsourcers to ensure an accurate investment book of record.
  • Support to Portfolio Managers in the implementation of new investment analysis and strategies.
  • Facilitate the relationships between Portfolio Managers and colleagues in Milan, Dublin, and London including areas such as IT.
  • Support PMs in the production of regular reporting requirements.
  • Support the Head of Operations in the oversight of outsourced and supplier relationships.
  • Own change within the business either via internal efficiencies; regulatory; client or board driven.
  • Ensure PM procedures are regularly reviewed for completeness and accuracy as the operating model changes.
  • Develop macros to optimise financial risk management practices.
  • Support the Head of Operations in risk assessment of PM functions inc. business continuity and operational resiliency. 

Experience required

 

4 to 8 years' experience working on a dealing desk or investments team preferably for an Asset Manager, Bank Treasury or Broker operation. Will also consider candidates from an investment operations or middle office experience looking to join an investment team.

Core Competencies required

 

  • Good working knowledge of the Aladdin system.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office suite-packages.
  • SQL and/or Python programming knowledge.
  • Total Return Swaps and/or broader derivatives experience.
  • Fluency in English is essential, knowledge of the Italian language is a plus.
  • The flexibility and open mindset to work within a small team environment.
