Scope & Activities

Assist the Finance and Investments Team in delivering on a timely basis the fund accounting outputs that feed into the accounting trial balance, have responsibility for the reconciliation of the fund management system with the trial balance, manage the relationship with back office and middle office to ensure alignment of the fund management system. Assist the team with monitoring of the unit-linked funds and their performance and interaction with the asset manager. On an ad-hoc basis, assist the Finance team with accounting tasks around month-end closure. 

Required experience & qualification

3-5 years' experience in a similar role where the tasks undertaken relate to the accounting of unit linked funds. 

Competencies (Technical and soft skills)

• Fully qualified accountant, or currently studying to become fully qualified; • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Visual Basic or similar; • Knowledge of SOFIA or a similar financial management system; • Knowledge of Italian language is not essential but advantageous; • Capability to work under pressure; • Attention to detail; • Strong team player; • Flexibility and adaptability; • Training skills, quick learner; • Self-starter, showing good initiative; • Problem solving & decision making; • Strong analytical thinking.
