Role description

IT technical support Admin. Is a crucial stakeholder in the largest part of the company IT project activities.

The above will include delivery of new ICT services in response to business needs and/or the enablement of innovation of the infrastructure in accordance with best practises and audit requirements.

Current position responsibilities include:

  • act as the bridge between both internal/external IT Service Providers and the company,
  • Support the enhancement of the company’s ticketing system, its monitoring, improvement and reporting,
  • monitor IT Outsourcer’s SLAs adherence possibly improving existing reporting,
  • monitor and maintain - in liaison with outsourcer - computer systems and networks to ensure the highest level of efficiency,
  • set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues, both on PCs and on mobile phones
  • support the roll-out of new applications,
  • rapidly establish a good working relationship with internal or external customers and other professionals, such as software developers,
  • test and evaluate new technology for existing environments and for new projects

Essential requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Technical Subject, Engineer IT or Computer science will be an asset
  • At least 4 years’ experience into IT related activities.
  • Knowledge of Industry’s Standards, KPIs
  • Good excel and reporting knowledge 
  • Good English. Italian and other European languages will be an asset

Desired qualifications, knowledge and experiences

  • Previous experience in IT outsourcing.
  • Knowledge of the main Ticketing systems (RHD, Service Now, Jira)
  • Awareness of IT Assets Inventory and licences management
  • Experience with reports’ design and creation
  • Advanced excel knowledge for data analysis.
  • Exposure to relevant It related projects. PMO certifications will be an asset
