Role description

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with the preparation of periodic reports to committees and investments meetings.
  • Performing a continuous monitoring of financial markets and relevant indicators, with support to other functions.

Activities by area


  • Controls on transaction proposals and order-dispatching
  • Upload, monitoring and maintenance of transactions onto SOFiA, Bloomberg and internal Excel spreadsheets
  • Performance reports preparation
  • Reclassification and analysis of Solvency II balance sheet
  • Liquidity risk monitoring

Support to other functions

  • Involvement with product development processes, including documental update activity
  • Marketing reporting and commentary preparation and review

Oversight activities of policyholder and shareholder assets:

  • Funds monitoring, quantitative strategies monitoring, minute-taking and internal reporting activities
  • Participation to periodic meetings with delegated asset managers, external advisors and other counterparties
  • yearly revision of the Policies connected with the investment activities

Desired qualifications, knowledge and experiences

  • Experience with Bloomberg PORT function
  • Working experience of bookkeeping software
  • Experience with further data providers, such as Morningstar and MSCI ESG
  • Willingness to pursue a professional qualification
  • Experience in liaising with corporate governance functions

Essential requirements

  • Previous work experience of 4+ year in an Investment Administration and/or Risk Management role
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Finance-related discipline
  • General knowledge of financial markets
  • Experience in data reporting
  • Familiarity with accounting principles
  • Working knowledge of Bloomberg
  • Highly proficient with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
  • Fluent in both English and Italian language
