FAMI - ESG Risk Manager

Scope and Activities

The Company is seeking a ESG Risk Manager within the Risk Management team. Based in Dublin, this is an exceptional job opportunity with a top‑tier asset management company working closely with the business. The role is a permanent contract.

The successful candidate will carry out the following duties and responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance the ESG control framework for all funds managed by the Company
• Support ESG policy updates
• Validate the ESG risk reports and monitor the results against the risk limit framework
• Address any data quality issues with the relevant service providers and with IT
• Discuss the problematic situations and define action plans with the investment managers and with the senior management, as needed
• Produce regular reports for the senior management
• Support the financial risk monitoring process
• Contribute to the improvement of the risk management processes, systems and documentation
• Improve the automation of tasks and processes

Experience, Competencies, Skills Required

• At least 5 years of experience in risk management
• ESG risk experience is a must
• Quantitative or Finance oriented degree; FRM or PRM qualifications will be considered preferential
• Good Excel and SQL skills; experience with ESG analytics providers (e.g., MSCI ESG Metrics, Sustainalytics) is a must, experience with financial software (e.g., Bloomberg) and experience with risk software (e.g., Aladdin) will be considered preferential
• Languages: English is essential, Italian is an advantage
