Scope and Purpose
- Sound knowledge of policies & procedures
- Drafting of User Manual & Documents
- Implement controls & checks on IT systems
- Ability to transform business Requirements into technical requirements.
- Manage IT fixed assets and accessories (purchase and disposal, maintenance, record keeping, etc.)
- Handle IT-related reporting, requests and queries
- Handle staff access to the Branch’s systems
- 1st level help desk support (for desktops, laptops, printers, corporate handphones, internet, etc.)
- Attend to problems regarding SIRE (IBM AS400 core banking system), SWIFT, etc., open incident tickets to Head Office Helpdesk and follow up
- Monitor and ensure the IT system health status and performance etc.
- Ensure the operations of Voice Recording system
- Ensure the first level support of Trading platforms like Bloomberg, Reuters , IPC Dealer Phones etc.
- Perform support/administration duty on system/networking infrastructure including server room facilities such as network patching, monitoring of UPS and cooling system, etc.
- Perform daily reconciliation between various centralised systems (e.g. Kondor +)
- Perform daily verification of market data after system input (e.g. LIBOR)
- Manage hardware and software deployment with regular updates
- Support the upgrade or testing of IT systems according to the instruction from HK Hub IT, Head Office or service providers
- Prepare and manage technical documentation and operation manual
- Perform standby duty after normal office hours when required
- Coordinate with Head office for issues related to different systems and processes
Required Experience
5+ years of relevant experience in system administration and support, preferably in banking industry, sound knowledge of Tokyo IT compliance & regulatory requirements, Drafting policies & Procedures as per the requirement, documentation.
Competencies Required
- Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
- Basic knowledge and understanding of network infrastructure such as Switches, Routers, Firewall etc.
- Understanding of Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Knowledge of MS SQL Server
- Programming in Excel (VBA, macros, ODBC connectivity) and automation under Windows and Unix (Red Hat) environments.
- Profound Microsoft Office knowledge
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Sound knowledge in Desktop support and incident management.
- Knowledge of financial industry is preferred
- Microsoft certifications MCSE, MCSA
- IT Certifications ITIL,CGEIT & other certifications will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of Power BI, Forms and Lists are preferable for development of workflow using Power Automate
