Scope and Purpose

 

The role covers medium/long term (Export Credit Agencies – “ECAs”) products as well as prepayments and is part of SF, which covers project and acquisition finance.

 

Main activities:

  • Business development including origination, structuring, and execution of export finance and prepayment transactions. Geographical coverage includes Corporates / Export Credit Agencies in Asia.
  • Maintain relationships with Corporates, Banks, Multilaterals, and ECAs together with, wherever appropriate, the International Corporates Relationship Managers and the respective Head Office units.
  • Maintain and be responsible for all documentation in relation to transactions executed in Asia.
  • Responsible for monitoring of and all audit formalities (both internal audit and external / regulatory audit) in relation to the portfolio in Asia throughout the life of the loans.
  • Experience in project finance (documentation and modelling) preferable and will at times at direction of SF staff, complete assigned tasks in SF.

Required Experience

 

At least 7 years  of working experience in structured trade & export finance,  including origination, due diligence, credit analysis, execution, modelling, documentation and administration

 

Competencies Required

 

  • Degree holder in Economics or Finance or related disciplines;
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently to deliver results under time constraints;
  • Good knowledge of the ECA markets, international business and its practices. Knowledge and experience with prepayments is considered a plus;
  • Strong regional network of ECAs, clients and banks active in the sector
  • Strong analytical capability;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to deal with wide range of internal and external counterparts;
  • Strong documentation skills under time pressure;
  • Team player.
