Scope and Purpose

 

  • Assisting the RM in the business development and managing the relationship with Branch's Global Corporate (Italian) Clients
  • Assisting the RM in structuring of products and services in meeting customers' needs and in development and enhancement of current and prospective clients' relationship
  • Assisting the RM in meeting clients, negotiating and structuring facilities and deals, both on a bi-lateral basis or in syndication, preparing call reports, liaising with GRMs and HO departments
  • Assisting the RM in identifying business opportunities and cross-selling the Bank's capabilities, which include Trade Finance, Structured Export Finance, Project Finance, Cash Management, etc
  • Liaising with the Branch's other Departments and the Group's structures for related banking activities, 
  • Ensure the Branch KYC (Know Your Customers) and CDD (Customers Due Diligence) procedures and MAS directives are strictly adhered to
  • Performing any other management reporting and marketing research responsibilities as directed/assigned by management from time to time

Required Experience

 

Up to 2-3 years of experience in Corporate and Investment Banking 

 

Competencies Required

 

  • University degree and/or post-graduate degree in economics/ finance
  • Fresh graduate in banking, finance and economy
  • Knowledge and experience in Business analysis 
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Good communication skills
  • Thoroughness and attention to details
  • Advanced English (spoken and written)
  • Team-oriented personality
  • Understanding of credit risk analysis and support the preparation of credit papers
  • Advanced analytical ability to perform financial statement and market analysis
  • Ability to engage with professionals of different product and relationship teams
