It is looking for new qualify profiles who want to face demanding and challenging career path with the following requirements:
Scope and Purpose
Daily matching, checking and releasing of MM/FX payments/receipt deal generated out by SIRE system
Checking of MM and FX tickets to ensure counterparty details, amount and settlement instructions correspond with the Broker's / Reuters confirmations
Authorize validated MM and FX deals in the SIRE System and create payment/receipts
Ensure daily and on regular basis that all payments are effected accordingly before the cut-off time, funds are received before cut-off time and check status through the system
Advise and aa confirmation to LC received from other Banks to the beneficiary
lssue Letter of Credit for customers of the bank who have credit facilities
lssue B/G for customers of the bank who have credit facilities
On maturity date of L/C, we perform the following:
o For import - to ensure payments are effected accordingly if documents are in compliance with the relevant letters of credit
o For export - for letters of credits which we have discounted, we monitor the timely receipt of funds
o To chase for payments if monies are not received on maturity date.
Buyers' Credit / L/C Refinancing / Trade Loans / Discounting of Export Bills
o Perform transactions relating to Buyers' Credit, L/C Refinancing and Trade Loans and Discounting of Export Bills
Required Experience
Year of experience
- 3 years minimum
- Bachelor Degree or similar Tertiary qualification in finance
Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge
- Deep understanding and knowledge of the operations in the bank
- Knowledge of financial institutions, correspondent banking
- Positive attitude towards colleagues and the organization to ensure seamless communication
- Detailed orientated skill set, strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
- Produce high quality work within challenging deadlines
