Scope and Purpose

• To develop relationship with target Chinese counterparties with strong credit strength, preferably with overseas / European / Italian investment.  To develop relationship with top SOEs with quasi-monopoly industry position, very selective industry leader with POE background. To participate or lead major acquisition club loan for Chinese industrial leaders' cross-border acquisition. To establish revolving credit lines with investment grade SOEs, POEs;
• To act as senior relationship manager for target Chinese counterparties, including but not limited to leading global companies and companies with international footprint;
• To act as a focal point for client and agency liaison and other logistical support to different internal business units as well as Head Office functions of the Bank, International Network,  Hongkong Hub and Shanghai Branch for all required services and activities of the Bank; 
• To effectively cross sell ISP Group's products with particular focus on IMI CIB Division products;  
• To support the Chinese clients international expansion by promoting Intesa Sanpaolo Group Subsidiaries and Branch network capability and opportunities. To establish and promote the Bank's position as "preferred global partner" for target clients, mainly for supporting their cross border investments but not only;
• To ascertain and cultivate interest from the target Chinese client base in Europe and Italy for business development and investment where the Bank is present with strong local capabilities;
• To undertake necessary analysis, prepare marketing proposals, internal credit proposals and reporting;
• To assist Shanghai Branch and the Bank for other general needs, tasks and assignments assigned by reporting line.

Required Experience

Minimum 5-7 years of experience

Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

- University degree and/or post-graduate degree in Finance/Economics or equivalent
- Fluent in English, Italian knowledge would benefit 
- Working knowledge in the Bank's product and services.
- Understanding of credit risk analysis.
- Understanding of AML and Compliance rules and requirements 
- Understanding of Markets Dynamics and Clients needs
- Computer literacy
- Exceptional quantitative skills
- Proactive, flexible & adaptable
- Organized and able to meet deadlines
- Good communication 
- Customer and detail oriented
