Scope and Purpose

Will report "Functionally, to Head of Corporate Desk; hierarchically to GM France"

    Lead the commercial effort in conjunction with RMs for assigned customers /new prospect clients in originating investment banking opportunities 
    Supervise and coordinate synergistically the commercial and execution effort with the relevant product teams/functions  
    Ensure commercial management and the achievement of profitability and risk objectives for the relevant portfolio, in line with the guidelines defined by the General Manager of the Branch, the Head of the Corporate Desk, and the Industry of competence

Required Experience

    Minimum 10 years Investment Banking experience with a current role as senior coverage banker of large/mid-cap corporate clients (with full P&L responsibility)

Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

    First grade academic education, preferably with an MBA
    Demonstrable list of relevant contacts in the French corporate market and track-record of originated and executed transactions in the French market
    Potential to immediately make a commercial impact and P&L contribution
    Strong relationship and interpersonal skills

    Exposure to and good understanding of full range of Investment banking products (M&A, ECM, DCM, Structured Finance)
    Solid expertise in financing transactions
    Deep understanding of Credit and Syndication drivers and capability of managing an internal Credit-approval process 
    Ability to engage with professionals of different product and relationship teams, maintaining the ultimate responsibility and supervision of each transaction to successful conclusion
