Tax Accountant Vice President

Overview

The Tax Accountant is responsible for compiling all supporting data and gathering all documentation necessary for the preparation of the US Federal, State and City income tax returns and regulatory compliance requirements such as information reporting (TIN compliance).

What you'll be doing

• Compile all data and gather all the  documentation necessary for the preparation of tax return (Federal, States, and City)
• Liaise with  the external Tax advisors for the preparation of tax returns, and other tax matters
• Calculates monthly tax provisions
• Prepare and reconcile 1099 and 1042-s forms
• Prepare quarterly NY sales  Tax returns
• Support various other tax projects and initiatives as needed
• Support the activity of the Accounting dept

Who we are looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a tax accountant
• Taxation, General Accounting and financial reporting background
• Exceptional analytical, research and critical thinking skills
• Prolific self-starter, capable to work well independently
• Fluency in Italian language is a plus
• Practical knowledge of MS application such as Excel and Word
• Undergraduate Degree in Accounting or Finance

What we offer

• The salary range for this position is 100k $- 130k $
