Scope and Purpose
The Syndication Analyst will support the Head of the Syndication Desk and other members of the Department in performing administrative and analytical tasks to include timely maintenance of internal databases, preparation of market reports and memos, for both internal and external consumption, collection, compilation and analysis of market data aimed to support the execution of any pitches or activity in the primary market as well as assist the desk in any secondary market activity. Additional tasks on top of the ones listed below may be added based on ongoing skill assessment and learning progression.
The salary range for this position is 80k $-110k $.
Required Experience
0-3 years of experience.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge
- knowledge of financial instruments and debt capital markets are a must
 - knowledge of the loan syndication market, including structuring, distribution and closing phases, is a plus.
 - knowledge of commercial, corporate and investment banking products.
 - General knowledge of credit/financial analysis.
 - knowledge of legal documentation.
 - practical knowledge on how to navigate and use Bloomberg, LPC, Dealogic, DebtDomain, SalesForce and ClearPar is a plus
 - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration with emphasis on corporate finance, financial accounting or economics or equivalent
