Introduction

 

We are looking for people who have just graduated and are interested in economics or similar with a focus on banking

Teamworking, problem solving and analytical skills are what we are looking for in our new colleagues.

Activities

 

  • Support the Relationship Manager (RM) in banking Fortune 1000 clients
  • Evaluate the operating and economic performance of the customers  in their portfolio
  • Perform interrelated administrative and lending activities and seeing to the preparation of commercial notes in connection with lending matters
  • Prepare ad hoc presentations/pitches/transaction teasers for customers and prospect transactions
  • Interact with the Global Relationship Managers, Local RMs and/or assistant RMs with regard to corporate customers
  • Ensure quality of the work carried out and that timeframes are observed; taking on an operational  role  in urgent transactions
  • Promote the cross selling of Corporate & Investment Banking products (DCM, ECM ,. Derivatives, M&A, etc.).
  • Initiate corrective actions when necessary

You will learn and apply basic concepts and tools of the Corporate Desk, in particular to understand the product and the systems and processes used.

Requirements

 

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor‘s / Master‘s degree (economics or similar with a focus on banking) or in a gap year between Bachelor‘s and Master‘s degree program
  • With practical experience in corporate banking advantageous
  • Whos is an excellent communicator with good financial and analytical skills
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Solid skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good command of English and/or Italian (advantageous), both written and spoken
  • Available for 3-6 months
  • Knowledge of commercial, corporate and investment banking products
  • Credit/financial analysis skills
  • Some knowledge of credit agreement and/or corporate legal documentation
  • Ability to work on presentations and corporate banking operational tasks
  • Practical experience in supporting client relationship managers within large Financial Institutions or as financial analyst in a Treasury of a Large Corporation advantageous
  • Knowledge of commercial lending and corporate banking practices and procedures

Selection

 

The selection process is divided into two stages. You will take an interview with the Recruiting & Assessment Center team, that evaluates your soft skills. Those who pass this first step will receive an invitation for a technical interview with the relevant Division. Each candidate will receive feedback, regardless of the result.
