IMI CIB - Letter of credit Manager

Scope and Purpose

 

  • Monitor the processing of all Letter of Credit and Documentary Collection items to ensure processing is done in an efficient and timely manner
  • Ensure the department adheres to internal procedures, industry standards and regulations governing Letter of Credit and Documentary Collections, including BSA/AML/OFAC rules and regulations, Anti-Boycott Regulations, KYC policies and procedures.
  • Manage billing and reconciliation processes, including escalations
  • Facilitate the deployment of new systems and upgrades,  operating procedures
  • Administer associated projects as assigned. 

Required Experience

 

Minimum 7 years of experience.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

 

  • Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of lncoterms, current ICC Uniform Customs & Practice (UCP522, UCP600) and ISP98.
  • Detailed knowledge of BSA/AML/OFAC rules and regulations (including Anti-Boycott), KYC policies and procedures.
  • Understanding of Banks policies and procedures and control environment.
  • Remarkable customer service expertise
  • PC literate with good knowledge of Word, Excel and SWIFT as well as the Bank’s internal processing systems
  • Good knowledge of banking accounting practices for each product   

 

The salary range for this position is 95k - 135k $
