Scope and Purpose

 

The primary responsibility of the Analyst role of the Trade & Supply Chaing Finance (T&SCF) areas of the Financial Institutions Desk include supporting the senior professionals of the team in closing, executing, managing and monitoring the SCF/TEF/SEF transactions and overall functions of the desk. This includes liaising and communicating efficiently with all team members, various functions within the NY Branch and in HO, to support the achievement of the objectives of the SCF/TEF/SEF desks in line with the strategic objectives. Interaction with external counterparties and clients such as financial institutions, corporates and other business counterparties.

Required Experience

 

1-3 years in similar role.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

 

  • Handle SCF/TEF/SEF proposals, quotations, monitor disbursements and settlements, and coordinate with Treasury and Back Office to insure smooth handling of transactions.
  • Participate in bank/client meetings on an as-needed basis.
  • Prepare reports for circulation to Senior Management and/or to H/O and/or branches/subsidiaries of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group's network as may be required.
  • Produce Price Range simulations as required in support of both deal flow and for the preparation of notes and credit proposals.
  • Support in the preparation of Product Notes necessary for proposals requesting the necessary credit limits for the SCF/SEF/TEF activity.
  • Prepare internal and external pitches, reports (including profitability and utilization reports) as required from time to time in support of SCF/TEF/SEF business origination, reporting, monitoring and general management activities.
  • Stay abreast of developments in trade and supply chain finance and general banking market
  • Product knowledge: General understanding of international business, its products and its practices.
  • Undergraduate level Degree in Business, International Economics or International Relations or equivalent International Banking experience

 

The salary range for this position is 70k - 100k $
