Scope and Purpose

Group Supervisory Strategic Steering (GSSS) Dept’s mission is to manage relations for Intesa Sanpaolo Group with the ECB, within the Single Supervisory Mechanism (SSM), and with the SRB, within the Single Resolution Mechanism (SRM).

GSSS supervises the interaction with the SSM and the SRM - through meetings, on-site inspections, off-site investigations and analyses, follow-ups, data and information requests - at Group level, ensuring that feedbacks and responses to the Authorities are timely and accurate.

In addition, GSSS analyses the supervisory guidelines and trends, using an artificial intelligence tool, in order to raise awareness at the Group level and coordinate the assessment of the impacts of the emerging supervisory topics.

 

  • Manage Supervisors’ requests of data, information and documentation, i.e. analyze their content, and identify and coordinate the Business Owners in drafting the feedbacks.
  • Organize the meetings of the Supervisors with ISP Top Management and technical functions.
  • Contribute to spreading and strengthening ISP supervisory awareness at all levels of the organization.

Required Experience

  • 5 to 10 years of previous working experience in Banking, Audit or Consultant Companies working in the financial services.
  • Experience and knowledge of financial regulation and supervision mechanisms would be a plus.
  • Some experience in any of the following areas would be a plus: Risk Management, Auditing, Compliance, Financial Accounting, Project Management, Corporate and Legal Affairs, Capital & Liquidity Planning, Credit.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

  • Fluency in spoken and written Business English.
  • Good drafting and presentation skills and ability to prepare clear and concise presentations and briefings for diverse audiences, with attention to detail.
  • Academic background in fields such as Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Political Science, Engineering, Statistics, Law, Information Technology.
