Scope and Purpose
Support the Head of Investment Portfolio in managing the Bank's investment Portfolio
• Develop and propose investment strategies and monitoring investment portfolios.
• Analyze trade and monitor opportunities in relevant sector and stay informed and up-to-date with the financial market.
• Manage the Bank's investment portfolio by executing fixed income, derivatives transaction and repo operations on the securities
• Perform core controls to ensure risk is correctly monitored according to the limits established in the Investment Portfolio Policy.
• Ensure daily monitoring of compliance with the limits established in the investment portfolio approved by the BoD and the Group.
• Manage / Guarantee the collateralisation of securities included in the Bank's investment portfolio at the Central Bank.
Required Experience
Master's degree in Business Administration or Finance with at least with at least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position or 4-5 years in a relevant position within the Dealing Room, Risk Management or Middle Office (securities and derivatives) of a Bank.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge
1 Good understanding of investment strategies, risk management, economic principles and capital markets functions
2 Good financial analysis skill, numerical sense and quantitative analyses and portfolio optimisation skill
3 Good understanding of the market, financial products, cash and derivatives and operational risk
4 Good knowledge of Trading Systems such as Bloomberg, TradeWeb and MTS/Bondvision
5 Good understanding of economic principles and capital markets functions
6 Strong knowledge of computer-based tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Languages:
Fluent in English and Italian, intermediate level of French is best to have.
