Scope and Purpose
The position relates to the management and development of the growing book of fund financing within ISPBL, in line with the strategy of the Group. Key areas covered by the role are:
- Fund Financing
- KYC
- Legal analysis
- Risk Management
- Maintains the existing loan book and increases the relationship with both prospects and established clients (investment funds), including with other lending partners and with internal stakeholders of the Intesa Group
- Assist in writing credit applications
- Interact with the credit department
- Follows on-boarding and KYC processes, as well as any other operating issues in the day-to-day life of the facilities, in accordance with the internal procedures and in cooperation with the relevant departments of the bank (Compliance, Credit Administration, Operations, ...)
- Assists in organizing the validation of the legal documentations, in close cooperation with the internal legal team and the external lawyers
- Monitors the refinancing risk and ensures its compliance with the risk/return objectives of the bank
- Contributes to process the amendment and waiver requests
- Follows from a credit risk points of view the exposures to the established clients
- Collaborates with the team in order to prepare periodic or one-time internal reports, prepares the presentations to be addressed to prospects and clients, and participates in all the other activities in which the Department may be involved
Competencies Required
- In depth knowledge of the fund financing ( or structured financing) mechanics, from the origination to the execution (with a focus on sophisticated documentation matters);
- Previous experience in the KYC process;
- Good appraisal of the Private Equity market and of the investment fund strucures;
- Understanding of the Corporate & Investment Banking environment and of the capital markets products, of the business operations and of the regulatory matters;
- Ability to articulate in English, both in writing and verbally, on the merit of transactions;
- Fluency in both written and spoken English
Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in Business Administration
- Shall have at least 5 years in corporate or structured or fund financing
