IMI CIB - Debt Capital Markets Senior Analyst

Scope and Purpose

 

Support senior members of the team in origination activities, including but not limited to: 

  • preparing market updates, client pitches and other related materials (including marketing materials);
  • preparing the response to RfPs;
  • conducting research and quantitative analyses; 
  • maintaining and updating market and deal related databases; 
  • updating materials to be used in client pitches e.g. credentials, league tables, profiles, etc);
  • preparing and circulating reports of client calls/meetings;
  • providing logistical support and prepare investor presentations for non-deal roadshows; and 
  • any other deal origination related activities.

 

Support senior members of the team in all aspects of deal execution depending on the role of the Bank, including but not limited to:

  • attending all deal-related calls (including due diligence calls) and preparing and circulating related call reports;
  • preparing investor presentations; 
  • completing know-your-customer (KYC) processes;
  • liaising with Legal,& Compliance functions and other related departments to ensure all internal procedures are followed;
  • providing logistical support for deal roadshows;
  • creating and maintaining deal Watch List and Deal Registration forms;
  • preparing deal case studies and orderbook analyses;
  • preparing communications for regulatory-related and internal approvals; and
  • any other deal execution related activities.

Required Experience

 

  • Prior experience in/with DCM teams;
  • Understanding of DCM product and process;
  • Prior experience in Emerging Markets is an advantage

Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

 

  • Undergraduate/graduate degree in Economics/Business/Finance/Law and/or other subjects relevant to the role;
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in using MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel and other software, prior experience with using Bloomberg
  • A sound grasp of the technical aspects of DCM;
  • Ability to interpret and contextualise global macroeconomic and regional trends and other market conditions and the potential implications for Emerging Markets bond issuers.
