Scope and Purpose

This role is to support the various activities of the Intesa Sanpaolo London Branch Regulatory Compliance Department. It will include a variety of different tasks such as: • Managing ad hoc requests from the business and ensuring they are actioned in an appropriate timeframe • Ensuring logs and registers are kept up to date • Undertaking elements of the Compliance Monitoring Plan • Assisting with the creation and rollout of compliance training • To prepare material for committee meetings • Assist with SMCR related activities • Keep up to date on UK regulatory changes • Project work • Manage other ad hoc tasks as may be assigned 

Required Experience

1 -3 years compliance experience within the UK financial sector. The role is a generalist role and will suit a quick learner with an eye for detail.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

• Degree educated (Law/accountancy/economics/business) or relevant professional qualifications (CISI/ICA). • Knowledge of the UK regulatory framework e.g. FCA and/or PRA handbook. • An understanding of one or more of the following asset classes: fixed income, equities, FX, or equity derivatives • Knowledge of corporate banking would be an advantage. • Fluent in a European language would be beneficial.
