Scope and Purpose

 

The candidate will be in charge of:

  • Providing timely analysis of credit applications originated from the Corporate Desks of the UK&MEA perimeter;
  • Analysing transactions' structures, market features, business plans and financial models, and assessing the creditworthiness of the proposed transactions;
  • Liaising with the applicants in a proactive manner in order to efficiently solve issues and mitigate risks for the Bank.

 

In addition to the above mentioned activities, the candidate shall carry on tasks requested by the local regulator, whereby the candidate will be mainly in charge of:

  • Analysing local credit applications, preparing the credit opinions and managing their presentation to the BoD/GM;
  • Reviewing all credit related requests received from Risk Centre and Turkish Banking Association and preparing response in coordination with the GM;
  • Coordinating and preparing replies to various internal and external auditors with reference to credit related topics.

 

Required Experience

 

3-5y experience in Credit Analysis and Underwriting on corporate transactions.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

 

  • The ideal candidate is required to possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics/Finance or Engineering;
  • English language: advanced or proficient level;
  • Strong experience in financial analysis and strong skills in analysis of complex structures;
  • Advanced skills in analysing financial statements, reviewing business plans and very good understanding of banking products and corporate transactions. 
  • Strong analytic mindset, good flexibility and excellent teamworking skills;
  • Good level of proficiency in Excel and knowledge of  financial modelling.

Optional qualifications: Master's Degree or other post graduate studies.
