Scope and Purpose

 

  • Support recruitment activities by liaising with line managers on recruitment needs such as preparation of job descriptions, scheduling interviews as well as liaising with recruitment agencies for hiring when necessary.
  • Support expatriate management including visa and tenancy agreement  administration; and liaise with vendor ensure adherence to tax regulations.
  • Responsible for staff on-boarding and off-boarding processes including background check, conducting new joiners orientation, work visa administration, etc.
  • Handle staff compensation and benefit administration, including verification of staff reimbursement and allowances, preparation of payroll and accounting entries, follow up enrollment and termination of pension fund and medical insurance.
  • Coordinate staff training and development activities.
  • Manage office access control system and generate access reports on a regular basis.
  • Maintain accurate staff records including timely update of information in the HR system and regular review and verification of staff leave records.
  • Prepare and compile HR reports such as monthly headcount report, cost allocation report and other reports as required by Head Office, liaise with other Branches in Asia for data consolidation.
  • Liaise with the vendors to ensure timely completion of tasks such as payroll and tax filing.
  • Perform any ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Required Experience

 

  • 3 years of relevant experience in human resources
  • Relevant experience in the Banking industry would be advantageous

Competencies Required

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related disciplines
  • Well-versed in the employment related ordinances in Hong Kong, such as Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and MPF Schemes Ordinance
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (e.g. MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of HR Systems and manage HR databases
  • Good command of both spoken and written English
  • Well-organised, attentive to details and able to work independently with multi-tasking skill
  • Sell-motivated, strong sense of responsibility, good analytical and numerical sense
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
