Scope and Purpose

 

Eurizon Asset Management is looking for an Asia Head of Distribution based in Hong Kong. 


The main actives are: 

 

  •  Research the target market for the Company's products and services; 
  • Identify need / demand in the Asia market-place; 
  • Identify prospective clients/ distributors; 
  • Cooperates to the definition of commercial strategies of the company; 
  • Implement the sales and commercial plan of the Company; 
  •  Monitoring industry trends, markets behavior, competitors, flows and appetite for products & strategies; 
  • Ensuring that products are sold to clients in the target markets by appropriate distribution channels and delivering appropriate client outcomes. 
  • Providing post-sales support to Clients and Distributors.

Required Experience

 

The candidate is expected to have 5y+ sales experience within the Asia asset management industry

Competencies Required

 

Technical competences required:

 

  • Proven sales track record in the Asia asset management industry;
  • Deep knowledge of the institutional investor market in Asia
  • Deep knowledge of UCITS collective investment vehicles, Hong Kong Mutual Funds, and financial products to be marketed to Private Banks, Distributors, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Family Offices and Institutional Investors.
  • Detailed understanding of Hedge Fund, Absolute Return and Long Only funds.  Product based in BVI, Cayman Islands and Hong Kong in both Fund and SMA structure.
  • CFA or CAIA certification
  • Proven abilities in preparing sales presentations
  • Strong technology abilities such as use of social media, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Existing client relationships in Asia
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English and Mandarin Chinese
  • Proven ability to carry out sales/marketing travel independently
