KYC Support Specialist Associate

Overview

 

You’ll join our growing global team within the IMI CIB Division. You’ll be based in Hong Kong Branch, and as part of the teams in charge of the KYC tasks and controls, you'll work in the Accounting & Operations team within a dynamic, international environment where collaboration is at the core of everything we do.

What you'll be doing

 

  • Ensure all corporate and entity accounts comply with regulatory and Compliance Department procedures
  • Perform checks via Cerved (Italian Chamber of Commerce) and other research sources
  • Analyze account activity using the bank's internal system SIRE AS400 (transaction volumes and totals)
  • Verify identification documents of authorized signatories in Credit/Legal files
  • Review and update (“repaper”) corporate records for approval and Compliance submission
  • Issue RFIs to Account Officers/Assistants to obtain missing or updated documentation
  • Execute AML controls, monitor red flags, and escalate to Compliance when required
  • Deliver training to team members as needed
  • Provide backup support across departmental functions under supervisor guidance

Who we are looking for

 

  • 3-5 years of experience in AML/KVC compliance activities
  • Practical knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, financial services, and evolving regulatory trends impacting assigned business lines
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong expertise in AML regulations and KYC/KYC (KYC/KVC) policies and procedures
  • Solid understanding of banking products, terminology, operations, and customer identification requirements (CIP)
  • Familiarity with CIB operations, products, systems, and related risk and control frameworks
  • Working knowledge of Risk, Compliance, and Audit practices
  • Strong business acumen with ability to anticipate and respond to evolving business needs
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with Relationship Managers, AML teams, and stakeholders
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel
