Overview
You will work within the Operations team of the Dublin Branch and will be responsible for the administration and first‑level controls of the insurance portfolio throughout its entire lifecycle. You will ensure that portfolio activities are performed in line with internal procedures, product rules and regulatory requirements, with a strong focus on data quality, operational accuracy and compliance checks, including AML and FATCA/CRS obligations. This role combines operational activities with a strong control mindset, contributing to the robustness and reliability of portfolio processes.
What you'll be doing
- Perform first-level controls on portfolio activities, including new business, post-sales transactions, and claims handling
- Execute AML checks and controls on new business and post-sales activities, including follow-ups and documentation review
- Perform FATCA/CRS classifications and controls, ensuring proper collection and validation of client information
- Monitor and manage portfolio anomalies, ensuring timely resolution in coordination with relevant functions
- Perform reconciliation and consistency checks across systems and with external parties
- Process and validate post-sales requests (switches, redemptions, amendments, etc.) ensuring compliance with product rules
- Support claims processing activities, including quality checks and documentation validation
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of processes and procedures, operational dashboards and reporting tools
Who we are looking for
If you want to turn your passion into a career and you have the following characteristics, we are waiting for you:
- university Degree in Economics, Law or related fields
- 2-4 years of experience in life insurance portfolio administration or operations
- experience in policy lifecycle management (new business, post-sales, claims)
- experience in first-level controls and operational checks within an insurance or financial services environment
- solid Excel skills
- SQL and database literacy
- basic knowledge of AML and FATCA/CRS requirements
- exposure to AML processes and client due diligence activities
- fluent Italian and English
