Scope and Purpose

 

  • Assist the manager of the Credit Dept in the completion of his duties.
  • Preparation of credit proposals, including analysis of business, sector, country, financial and structural risks, for approval by the relevant internal authority.
  • Presentation of credit proposals to the Credit Committee (as appropriate).
  • Preparation/review and administration of legal documentation.
  • Liaison with other departments within the Bank on new asset origination and credit transactions.
  • Preparation of periodical credit reviews, amendment/waiver requests for existing transactions.
  • Liaison with other market counterparties and ISP Group on all credit-related matters.
  • Establishment, amendment and maintenance of customer lines of credit in the accounting system.

Required Experience

 

0-3 years (previous credit analysis experience would be an advantage)

Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

 

 

  • Third Level Qualification with Business / Financial background (possibly CFA registration).
  • Knowledge of financial statements (including IFRS accounting) and established analytical skills within a credit lending environment. Good communication and presentation skills (for participation in Credit Committee meetings)
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Word and Excel is essential.
  • Full comprehension of financial statements and annual reports.
  • Excellent written comprehension and communication skills.
  • Excellent command / highly proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Knowledge of written and spoken Italian would be an advantage.
