Fideuram Asset Management Ireland dac (FAMI) established in 2001, is a UCITS management company belonging to FIDEURAM – Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking (190 bn. AUM), owned by Intesa Sanpaolo Group, one of the leading Italian financial groups. FAMI currently manages EUR 49 bn. worth of assets over 170 funds and is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.

Fideuram Asset Management (Ireland) dac is now looking to recruit a Trader to join our Trading Desk based in Dublin. The successful candidate will work mainly in the Fixed Income/Foreign Exchange area, but there may be exposure to Equites.

Scope and Purpose

 

Reporting to the Head of Desk, the successful candidate will be required to carry out the following core tasks:

 

  • Transmission of Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, Equity and Derivative orders for a variety of funds and investment styles/strategies.
  • Control of orders and ensuring of Best Execution through TCA (Transaction Cost Analysis).
  • Reporting activity and occasional project work.
  • Monitoring of broker-share and execution quality statistics
  • Management of key relationships with Portfolio Managers, brokers and colleagues in Dublin, London, Milan and at other offices within the Group.
  • Value-add to overall investment processes through communication of relevant and real-time market information to Portfolio Manager colleagues.

Required Experience

 

1 - 3 years’ experience working on a Dealing Desk for an Asset Manager or Broker operation.

Competencies Required

Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

 

  • A third level degree, in Business/Economics/Finance.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office and Bloomberg(TSOX/EMSX/FXGO) an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the Aladdin trading system would be an advantage, though not essential.
  • Fluency in English is essential
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to deal positively with challenges and time pressures.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to act independently with good organization skills.
  • A genuine interest and curiosity in Financial Markets.
