FAMI - Operational Risk Manager

Scope and Purpose

The Company is seeking an Operational Risk Manager within the Risk Management team. Based in Dublin, this is an exceptional job opportunity with a top-tier asset management company. The role is a permanent contract. The successful candidate will report to the Team Head of Operational Risk and will focus on managing and supporting the oversight of the operational risk arising from delegation of services to third parties.

The successful candidate will carry out the following duties and responsibilities:

· Monitor KPIs and support assessment of service level quality

· Support the prompt remediation of critical situations when they arise

· Review and maintain the service agreements in our proprietary outsourcing management system

· Coordinate projects and activities with other units of the Group and 3rd party providers

· Review due diligence questionnaires, periodic reports and other documentation produced by the third parties

· Support the reporting to senior management

· Contribute to the improvement of the risk management processes and risk management documentation

Required Experience

1-5 years' experience in operational risk management; exceptional candidates with relevant internships will also be considered

Competencies Required

· Good relational and communication skills, team player
· Comfortable with working on proprietary and 3rd party systems
· Experience in the fund management industry is preferred
· Good understanding of regulatory framework on outsourcing and use of third parties is preferred
· Languages: English is essential, Italian is an advantage

The successful candidate hands on, is detail oriented, perseverant, is able to run accurate analysis on large amounts of data under pressure.
