Scope and Purpose

    Prepare and maintain an accurate set of financial records, ensuring appropriate internal controls, to comply with the Australia Accounting Standards (AAS) and internal IFRS accounting policies, including ISP Group
    Ensure daily controls of accounting entries and monitoring of accounting items, for example: suspense accounts, payables and receivables, depreciations and provisioning, Nostro Accounts reconciliation, etc. 
    Supervise and guarantee that all the SIRE procedures like: EOD, EOM, EOY, SOD are performed in a proper and timely way.
    Responsible for Financial Regulatory Reporting as well as preparation of periodical financial reports, acting as primary liaison with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. APRA (D2A), ATO and external auditors) with respect to ISPS' financials.
    Responsible for coordinating the branch fiscal declaration, monitoring thin capitalization, withholding tax, Transfer Pricing.
    Act as change agent to lead or participate in any transformations to policies, processes and systems, within the areas of direct responsibilities ISS in accordance with APRA Prudential Standards.  Ensuring local implementation of changes in accounting policies or regulatory reports.
    Provide financial and accounting advice and support to the branch Senior Management to enable them to make sound financial decisions.
    Deliver adequate Management Information System to Head Office and support Senior Management, process the financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting, including the quarterly ALCO and Management Committee Meetings,  advising on long-term business.
    Oversee procurement decision making from tender analysis, pricing analysis, etc.
    Managing and tracking budget and accounting information including billing, collections and tax information.

Required Experience

    Over 5 years relevant experience in financial industry, with comprehensive knowledge of Local accounting standards and other regulatory requirements

Competencies Required

    Degree/Diploma holder in Accounting, or Finance or equivalent
    Over 5 years relevant experience in financial industry, with comprehensive knowledge of Local accounting standards and other regulatory requirements 
    Strong analytical skills and proficient in Excels
    Ability to work independently, have hands on working experiences, work under pressure, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
    Proactive and self-initiative and act as a good team player
