IMI CIB - ISP Brasil Data Office Assistant

Scope and Purpose

Candidate will be involved in all the activities related to Systems and services architecture, integrations for Data Management activities and also support the local ICT Management in all activities related to the Data Governance Framework in collaboration with the relevant roles in the Bank and Data Office Coordination (Parent Company)

• Support for the definition and adjustment of Data Governance and Data Quality model for the bank accordingly with Parent Company Framework, considering the Brazilian financial market specificities
• Support the Management of Data Governance and Data Quality in order to address any data related issues, including the proposal of business strategies on the data, identifying areas of risk or criticality, addressing the assessment of technological architecture functional adequacy
• Coordinate and support local Data Owners to guarantee Governance and Quality of the data
• Define the official sources for data (golden source) and the golden reports, in collaboration with data owner and data users
• Create and support the management of Bank Data Models, design and oversee the renovation of the Data Dictionaries, Reports and Controls.

Scope and Purpose

• Monitor the overall quality of data through appropriate Key Quality Indicatorproposing and implementing  actions for their improvement
• Promote the "data culture", stimulating an efficient, effective and innovative data use, also through data analysis services, and propose solutions to ensure the best accuracy, completeness, timeliness and integrity of information and their overall consistency
• Coordinate and execute project activities involving data for the Bank, from the data requirement definition, data analysis, model definition, data collection, extraction and to feed Governance System
• Collaborate with other ICT functions to the architecture definition, monitoring and support.
• Collaborate and support the IT strategy of the Group Data Governance system
• Interface with IT providers in implementing data solutions that enable the business to be data driven while protecting the data assets
• Support Data Owners and Data Users during all the data governance framework implementation, troubleshooting and correcting the required assets and also implementing  data quality monitoring and controls

Required Experience

At least 5 years of experience in IT related functions of which at least 2 years with significant exposure to Data Management in the Brazilian financial market or tech companies;

Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

• Bachelor Degree
• English – upper intermediate level
• Base knowledge on Data Governance / Data Quality
• Base knowledge on Data Modelling / Data Analysis
• Demonstrate knowledge of IT data handling and data classification
• Knowledge of software applications design tools, languages and systems architecture
• Base knowledge on system integrations and interfaces
• Knowledge of SQL, or other data exchange formats for data extraction integration, transforming
• Base competence on Bank processes
