Introduction

For IMI Securities Corporation, we are looking for new graduated Finance, Business or Economics.

Americas Team is responsible for the origination of equity and equity-linked products in the Americas. This includes IPOs, follow-ons, capital increases, convertible bonds and other equity-linked securities. ECM teams in their respective regions work closely with coverage teams to serve corporates, financial sponsors, private banking clients, and governments and collaborate with them in their equity and equity-linked transactions.

Activities

As part of the ECM Americas team, some key aspects of your job will be to:

•          Assist in preparing origination / marketing materials to pitch new transaction ideas to clients.

•          Work closely together with other corporate finance / capital markets teams within the bank (Debt Capital Markets, structured finance, investment banking coverage & industry teams, M&A, etc.)

•          Analyse profiles of potential ECM issuers (stock performance, financing needs, profitability, equity & credit story, etc.)

•          Follow market environment, in particular monitor new issues and relevant market trends for Equity and Equity-Linked Issues (including maintenance of transaction databases, pipeline)

•          Liaise and collaborate with ECM teams in Milan and London

•          Draft market updates to clients on a regular basis

Requirements

 

Previous investment banking / corporate finance internships beneficial

Legally authorized to work in the United States

 

•          Excellent academic credentials

•          Interest in capital markets and corporate finance

•          Excellent quantitative and analytical skills

•          Ability to multi-task, organized, rigorous

•          Ability to work within a team, in a fast moving, result-driven environment

•          Ability to work independently and to take initiative

•          Strong communication and interpersonal skills
