Scopo e Attività

 

Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. is looking for a Senior Know Your Customer Analyst, based in New York to support our Investment Banking. The Senior Know Your Customer Analyst is responsible mainly for the KYC and Customer Identification Program (“CIP”) related activities but also supporting AML Monitoring activities, as monitoring that the KYC/CIP file documentation and reviews are sufficient in accordance with regulations (i.e. section 326 of the Patriot Act) and internal procedures.

 

The main activities are:

 

  • Review all new and existing KYC files to ensure all information and documentation is complete in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Monitoring, tracking, escalating and reporting KYC/CIP documentation and information matters
  • Monitoring, tracking and reporting customer re-reviews to relationship personnel or their designees
  • Report and escalate KYC/CIP information, documentation re-review delinquencies
  • Update the bank's customer account system (GIFTS EDD).
  • Prepare and forward Requests for Information ("RFI's") to the Branch Relationship Officers or Head Office to obtain additional transaction information about a customer or a customer's customer.
  • Assist the BSA/AML Officer in general compliance matters and projects, and provide support and coverage to other compliance personnel as necessary.
  • Conduct quality assurance of junior analyst’s work product and reports
  • Advise relationship personnel or designees on KYC/CIP related matters

Esperienza Richiesta

 

  • At a minimum of 3-5 years of experience within the financial services industry including minimum of 2 years of AML compliance experience.

Competenze Richieste

 

  • Undergraduate level degree or equivalent

Qualifiche Richieste, Skills e Competenze

 

  • Knowledge of KYC/CIP, funds transfer, check processing and trade finance activity
  • Strong knowledge of AML Compliance, the BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC and other regulations and international best practices with specific experience relating to account opening (CIP standards) and KYC disciplines.
  • Knowledge of AML risk management and AML risks with respect to business lines, geographies, client types, products, services and transactions.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the transaction software Gift EDD or case management solution CaseTracker is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, namely Excel and Word
