Scope and Purpose


• Administer the back office trade process, from capture to settlement, and  associated internal controls
• Process and monitor cashiering functions of Broker/ Dealer
• Resolve operational breaks and remediate fails
• Manage the digital flow of trades into books and records and performing any reject maintenance
• Pre-match of trades diligently as early as trade date
• Settlement of domestic and foreign securities in the relevant markets using various domestic and international clearing systems
• Daily P&S Report review
• Resolve moderately complex issues when the arise
• Administer Corporate Actions and Stock Record Maintenance
• Perform Cash payment for trade settlement, collateral movement and other firm needs
• Review daily trade data sent to regulatory system and correct any errors
• Reconcile internal general ledger and bank accounts (cash and securities) at the close of business daily

Required Experience


• 1 to 2 years working experience in varied operational roles particularly in the cashiering function of a broker/dealer
• Prior working experience in a DTC/International settlements role and with track record using systems to support the business, essential
• Experience working under pressure and meeting hard deadlines

• Analytical thinker with strong problem solving/investigative skills
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Exceptional organizational skills and an ability to focus on transaction details
• Propensity to follow through resolving outstanding reconciliation items
• Understanding of Financial Reporting (Balancing Accounts, Debits, Credits, Journal Entries)
• Organized and able to prioritize critical tasks

Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge


• Bachelor's Degree, preferred
• Professional experience in: DTC and International Settlements and track record using systems to support the business, essential - FIS Phase 3, Clearstream, DTCC, CTM
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
