ISBL - IT Project Specialist

Scope and Purpose

• Participate in the implementation of IT programs and projects.
• Analyse different user departments and participate in solutions definition, ensuring that all requirements are respected if applicable.
• Estimate workloads in different ongoing projects and propose a provisional planning in collaboration with the project manager.
• Communicate on project evolution with the project manager and clients, and propose adjustments, if necessary.
• Ensure projects are developed and deployed on the open and mainframe platform, and participate in the set-up of test and validation protocols.
• Manage 'go live' with the IT system running teams and ensure the transition support and related maintenance of live or ongoing solutions deployment.
• Ensure technical assistance to internal clients via phone or email in order to facilitate the actions of the business team.
• Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
• Assist in the testing of new technology.

Required Experience

Master degree with at least 7 years of experience in a similar position

Competencies Required

Strong expertise in information technology management and systems administration.
Familiar with contract management and proposal development.
Demonstrated experience in the implementation of software.
Analytical and project management skills.
Good understanding of systems and computer network.
Familiar with Banking sector.
Good PC skills, especially MS Excel (VBA) and Access.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Organization skills and client-oriented.
Problem-solving skills with a demonstrated approach in finding solutions for every problem that may arise with projects.
Proven ability to manage time and multitask efficiently and effectively.
