Introduction

 

We are looking for graduated students in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or other related fields who are interested in learning about creditworthiness assessment activities in order to evaluate the risk associated with the granting of credit to both existing and prospective customers related to a diversified corporate client portfolio.

You will be working in a stimulating environment within the Credit Department team comprised of professionals with diversified backgrounds dedicated to the evaluation of customer credit applications originated by Business Units. You will also be required to perform credit analysis to assess the creditworthiness and solvency of customers within the credit granting process.

Activities

 

  • Support the Credit Department team in the review and analysis of the credit application,  prepare the reports to be submitted to the decision-making bodies request by the credit granting decision process
  • Examine corporate information and proposed financial transactions, evaluate corporate financial data and prepare internal reclassifications of the financial statements
  • Perform analysis of business plan and financial projections (alongside cash-flow and profitability vulnerability, via ratio analysis and/or stress testing)
  • Discuss of management strength, experience and track record and corporate governance more broadly
  • Evaluate funding strategy, financial policy, treasury activity (hedging, cash management) and liquidity
  • Assess other pertinent risk aspects, including country risk, parental and/or governmental linkage/support, relative ranking of indebtedness
  • Interact with all functions involved in the credit granting process and liaise with relevant stakeholders of business units of the Bank and the Group for credit-related matters
  • Perform related duties assigned by Head of Credit Department/Coordinator and assist senior colleagues in providing analytical, research and other professional support as required

Requirements

 

Educational Level/Experiences

We are looking for someone with:

  • Master Degree in Accounting, Banking, Finance, or Business Administration
  • a previous internship in an International bank or experience in a similar position in a Corporate Bank would be a plus

 

Required technical competencies:

  • General knowledge of international business and knowledge of financial products, Finance, Accounting
  • Credit and financial analysis skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • English-fluent (both written and spoken)
  • Italian and/or French would be a plus
