London Structure Export Finance - Associate

Scope and Purpose

We are currently recruiting an Associate role for our Structured Export Finance Team in London as part of the Structured Deals Department based in Head Office. 

Main responsibilities are:

- pro-active involvement in structuring and/or participating in the Structured Export Transactions, with a special focus on Supply Chain Finance products, either originated and promoted by ISP or offered in the international market:
- supporting relevant GRM/RM in the origination process of SEF transactions meeting either existing ISP clients and target customers
- procuring, and/or assisting in the procurement of internal and external mandates and other documentation required in connection with maintaining or entering new transactions
- developing and maintaining relationships with the international banking community in order to encourage flows of new business
- assisting int the preparation of the product proposals/notes for new transactions and if required for the renewal of existing lines of credit and annual credit reviews in conjunction with the relevant GRM/RM
- appropriate monitoring of the existing SEF London portfolio 
- acting as a reference and co-ordination point between ISP H.O. and the London financial market when required
- liaising with the other business units of the branch and the bank's network at large
- Other duties as may be requested by the Head of FIs in London in support of specific requirements

Required Experience

At least 6/7 years' working experience in a Supply Chain Finance related position (either in an international bank or in a non-Financial Institution/Corporate)

Competencies Required

- Degree in Finance/Economics with strong academic background
- High degree of technical acumen aligned to incisive commercial  insight
- Proven team working skills, ideally in an international environment
- Deep knowledge of Supply Chain Finance solutions and structures
- Good knowledge of structured export finance products
- Knowledge of relevant markets and sources of finance
- Fluent in written and spoken English
