Scope and Purpose


- Develop trade finance business with the corporate customers at local level and originate new flow at international level in coordination with GTB Head Office; - Promote business development from new and existing clients and develop new revenue streams by identifying and selling also innovative solutions to its portfolio of clients thus maximizing commercial profitability; - Participate in the coverage team and all the related activities on target clients; - Prepare meeting reports to be circulated within the Bank to the appropriate subject (branches, Head Office, ecc.); - Cooperate and support the different structure of the branches in order to ensure a smooth handling of the transactions (i.e.: actively participating text/contracts elaboration and negotiation of stand by, LC'S, guarantees...); - Ensure the necessary technical/specialist support during the origination, sales, onboarding phases as well as managing post-sale requests for Transaction Banking products; - Participate in internal and external business events, road shows and seminars as required by the business - Inform Head Office on any substantial mandatory changes in local regulation and/or local market developments; - Stay abreast of market developments in the trade finance market. 

Required Experience


- Atl least 5 years of working experience in Trade Finance sales positions; - Good knowledge of the markets, international business and its practices. 

Competencies Required


- Product knowledge: deep knowledge of trade finance products (i.e. LC's including discounting, guarantees, export/import loans, etc). Trade finance products price sensitivity. - Marketing and customer relations: trade Finance selling experience and good relationship skills. - Network knowledge: understanding of the Bank's global network, its resources and products. - Cross-selling: understand and apply (cross-sell) all of the bank's products and resources, when appropriate, to create innovative, multidisciplinary financing solutions. - Analytical skills: ability to analyze market and customer business potential to effectively convey / sell such evaluation to the Relationship Manager, HO and to the appropriate structures. - Problem solving/decision making: ability to create appropriate solutions that meet both the customer's needs and the bank's requirements. 

Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge


- Undergraduate level degree in business, international economics or international relations or equivalent international banking experience; - Ability and willingness to effectively communicate - written and orally - with customers and colleagues at different level with respect to Trade strategy, policy, business opportunities; - Presentations skills; - Local language and strong English knowledge; Italian is a nice to have.
