Scope & Purpose

Working as part of the Investment Administration team and contributing to day-to-day activities of that team to ensure effective and efficient delivery of weekly policyholder investment cycles; monitoring business relationships and data flows with outsourced service providers. Effective and efficient delivery means timely data delivered from well controlled and well understood, and documented, processes and procedures. Position responsibilities include: • Carry out the requisite checks on weekly unit pricing and investment cycle data delivered by outsourced service providers and extracted from different investment databases; • Recording unit pricing data on the policyholder processing platform in a timely manner, including liaison with other teams within the company to ensure coordination of related activities; • Liaison with internal investment management team in respect of sending and checking buy\sell orders in the market place; • Liaison with colleagues to ensure data provided in a timely manner to facilitate: o reconciliation of policyholder liabilities to policyholder processing platform; o calculation of Total Expense Ratios (TER) o analysis of fund composition data to facilitate calculation of rates of claims tax recoveries • Assisting in the regular monitoring of the business relationships with external business partner, including asset managers, fund administrators, and custodians; • Contributing to company-wide projects to ensure delivery on strategic objectives of both the company and the insurance group • Assisting the review of process documentation in accordance with documentation standards • Assisting the generation and verification of KPI type reports for senior management and the parent company • Support to upline in relation to planning the immediate needs within team and assisting ad-hoc tasks as and when they arise 

Required Experience

• Minimum of 18-24 months in space of investment administration type roles or good understanding of the tasks and disciplines required • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. 

Other Skills & Competencies
