Scope and Purpose

Preparation and monitoring of Daily Profitability / Benchmarking,
Preparing financial accounting information for various aspects of the financial accounting and budgetary control processes.
Assist in calculation / preparation of regulatory capital information / requirements for both local and consolidated reporting purposes (incl. large exposures, sector concentration, etc.).
Assist in calculation / preparation of economic capital information / requirements (incl. stress tests, reverse stress tests and available financial resources).
Assist in preparation of Group reporting packages (Finance Packages).
Preparation and review of annual head office Control documentation for all aspects of the business (262).

Required Experience

At least 3 - 5 years' experience in the Finance / Accounting / Regulatory Reporting dept. of a regulated financial institution (ideally a licensed bank)

Competencies Required

  • Strong numerical and mathematical skills.
  • Strong emphasis on analytical skills with an experience in data reconciliation, analysis and spreadsheet manipulation.
  • Excellent command / highly proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Knowledge / understanding of Economic Capital Requirements (including calculation) and a minimum of 1 years' experience of EBA Capital Reporting (Corep).
  • Knowledge of controls and report writing with a strong attention to detail and a willingness and ability to liaise with individuals at all levels.
  • Knowledge and understanding of banking products, their use, accounting and risk treatments.
  • Knowledge of IFRS accounting practices.
  • Knowledge / understanding of CRD IV requirements and Basel III regulatory standards on bank capital adequacy and stress testing.
  • Knowledge / understanding of Anacredit Regulation and Reporting
  • Excellent communication skills (at all levels within the organisation).
  • Third level business education (accounting qualification not a pre-requisite).
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel (including pivot tables, macros and complex formulae).
  • Good working knowledge of MS Word (some knowledge of Access is desirable).
