FAMI is currently seeking a Senior IT Support Specialist for the Organisation and IT Department within the HR, Business Support and Operations area. The position involves working in close contact with FAMI Head of Organisation and IT to ensure that all relevant IT aspects connected to the Company operations are properly managed and executed. 

Scopo e Attività

The role foresees also participation with leadership role in strategic projects impacting the IT aspects relevant for both the HR, Business Support and Operations area and Investments area. Finally, the candidate will play a key role in the management of the relationship with the IT suppliers and Information Providers used by the Company.

Working within the FAMI Organisation and IT in Dublin, the job will be comprised of the following tasks:
• Help Desk support (I Level of intervention) for users based in FAMI Dublin office
• Interaction with relevant departments of the Group IT outsourcers (FAM Sgr and ISP) to ensure prompt solution of IT issues both at the client/endpoint side and at the systems /infrastructure/ datacenter side managed by relevant Group Outsourcers
• Interaction with IT suppliers and Information Providers to ensure that services delivered are in line with contract provisions and KPIs
• Management of the procurement cycle (i.e contract renewal, service scope updates, etc.) with IT suppliers and Information Providers under the instructions received from the Head of Organisation and IT desk
• Support the Head of Organisation and IT desk and the Finance Desk in reconciling the invoice received from IT suppliers/Information Providers with the contract provisions
• Support the Head of Organisation and IT to define operating procedure with particular focus on the ones with relevant IT activities.
• Following the guidance from the Head of Organisation and IT desk, participate with a leadership role in projects with a relevant IT content and affecting both HR, Business Support and Operations area and the Investments areas

• Experience of approximately 5 years IT support, IT procurement functions
• Proven ability to participate in complex projects with multiple stakeholders and milestones in the area of IT new application implementation, client IT systems upgrade/migration, possibly with reference to players belonging to the Asset Management/Financial Services sector.
• Proven experience in IT costs budget management and control
• Experience in Oracle DB maintenance/query and in the main programming and query  languages (i.e Phyton, PL/SQL, VBA etc.) is an additional "nice to have" qualification
• A third level degree in scientific/IT related topics is preferred
