Bank of Ireland. FAMI is currently seeking a Legal and Company Affairs Specialist to join the Compliance Department based in Dublin. Reporting directly to the Chief Compliance Officer, the Legal and Company Affairs Specialist will be responsible for
supporting and assisting the management of regulatory matters as well as procedures relating to compliance and legal. This is a CF-2 role according to the Central Bank of Ireland classification.

Scopo e Attività

The successful candidate will be required to carry out the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that the Company's legal risk is managed by negotiating, preparing, formalizing and updating contracts stipulated by the Company (e.g. ISDA , Distribution, Outsourcing, Fund Administration, Depositary, Investment Management Agreements with third-party Delegates, Give-up agreements, NDAs)
  • Liaising with the company's legal advisors as needed
  • Providing support to the Marketing & Product Development department in the preparation of the supervisory authorization of new products
  • Ensure compliance with the Fitness & Probity regime
  • Ensuring to be compliant with current regulatory requirements relating to corporate governance, company law, related parties, company registry office
  • Support in the fulfilment of the Compliance Monitoring Plan
  • Ensuring that business processes / procedures comply with industry regulations
  • Providing support in the event of inspections by Supervisory Authorities
  • Managing non-compliance events, providing assistance and collaboration to the unit concerned to ensure the identification and implementation of the actions to be taken
  • Providing advice and assistance to Corporate structures and Corporate Bodies
  • Preparing communications and reports to Corporate Bodies
  • Reviewing AML documentation in line with relevant AML policies and procedures

Esperienza Richiesta

5 years of experience within the financial services sector, preferably asset/investment management sector, or a similar position at leading international law firms

Competenze Richieste

  • Law degree required. A professional qualification is an advantage
  • Excellent professional knowledge of English
