Fideuram Asset Management Ireland dac (FAMI) established in 2001, is a UCITS management company belonging to FIDEURAM – Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking (190 bn. AUM), owned by Intesa Sanpaolo Group, one of the leading Italian financial groups. FAMI currently manages approximately EUR 42 bn. worth of assets over 170 funds and is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland. FAMI is currently seeking a Head of Human Resources with strong generalist experience to lead and have responsibility for the entire HR function.


This is a stand-alone role and the successful candidate will have ownership for a wide variety of tasks including the following functions:

  • Employee Relations & Employment Law: managing and resolving employee relations issues such as disciplinary and grievance, absence, performance management, and other key HR areas including recruitment, attrition, restructuring and redeployment
  • Policies and Procedures Management: Ensuring relevant local policies are managed in line with incountry legislation and employment law; executing best practice HR strategies and programmes that support the business and Group policies, working with the Compliance department to ensure alignment with Fitness & Probity, Health and Safety and other compliance requirements
  • Compensation and Benefits: liaising with Pension consultants; Remuneration (Salary surveys and Market Analyses); International Executive tax arrangements; Reward & Recognition (Bonus management and long-term incentives); Benefits management (health insurance scheme and other benefits), Monthly payroll management of an outsourced payroll
  • HRBP: Providing advisory service and guidance to staff and senior management on all HR matters; leading any adhoc HR projects and initiatives that support business strategy
  • Recruitment, Executive Talent Search and Employee Engagement: Working with the Group HR units on the recruitment process in order to attract and retain key staff. Talent management & relocation support, succession planning through advertising, interviewing, reference checking, issuing contracts of employment and coordinating the induction of new employees
  • Other activities: Researching, planning and coordinating all training needs for the company; Maintaining HR systems to ensure correct and up to date staff records; ensure GDPR readiness and compliance with Data protection guidelines

Required Experience


At least 7 years’ experience in the HR field. Experience working in a Multinational financial services environment would be an advantage

Competencies Required

  • A third level relevant HR degree essential, CIPD qualification preferable
  • Solid understanding of employment legislation
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of the Italian Language is required
