Scope and Purpose

The HR Officer/Business Partner by closely working with the HR Dept in London will perform various tasks for the Human Resources department of the Dubai branch and will support the daily administrative activities in areas such as employment and related: offer letter, employment contract, probation period, etc., leave management, time management, expenses report, policies and procedures, employee and labour relations, recruiting, training and development.
Main activities to be able to carry out independently and partnering with team members and all stakeholders:
•    recruitment for permanent, temporary employment, internships and onboarding of new employees from acceptance of verbal offer through to completion of probationary period (including drafting of contractual documentation, arranging the pre-employment checks and onboarding process) 
•    processing of all grievances, disciplinary, maternity, paternity and shared parental leave
•    all employee related events including changes to contracts of employment promotions, salary increase, reward, internal mobility, etc.
•    in close dialogue with the UK team, arranging the training and development needs for employees and implementation of all HR initiatives and projects 
•    Monthly payroll 
•    Design and produce reports for HR processes/HR data
•    Assisting the team for the placement process for all expatriate (accommodation, home live, payroll, etc.) 
•    Promoting and implementing human resource values by planning and managing human resources programs in liaison with London and HO

Required Experience

Minimum 5-years relevant experience gained within an international banks/financial institution

Competencies Required

•    Degree in Business Administration or HR or relevant discipline 
•    Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
•    Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook)
