Scope and Purpose

 

Support the Relationship Manager in: • the relationship with the customers, assuring all support and administrative functions are properly, timely and effectively managed • the budgeting process, its review and monitoring • managing the credit application process and follow up 

Required Experience

 

1-3 years of experience in the position with an international bank, exposure to the region would be preferable 

Competencies Required

 

- Languages: mandatory fluency in English, both oral and written. Knowledge of Arabic would be preferable - Academic background: degree in Business/Economics/Finance/Law would be preferable - Computer: literate and confident use of with Microsoft Office - Personal skills: sound communication and interpersonal skills, organised and tidy person, flexible and open minded, able to work under pressure, strong teamwork attitude and desire to learn and contribute - Local knowledge: experience of Qatari environment, customs and practices would be preferable - Motivation: highly motivated to grow through active and personal contribution in a lean, focused environment. - Good understanding of credit risk analysis and modelling. - Good communication and presentation skills, both for the customers and the internal activities of the bank - Commercial attitude and negotiating skills - Operational and legal knowledge of corporate banking product and services - Legal knowledge and understanding of the corporate banking activity, applied to the required documentation - Knowledge of the financial markets and ability to understand their trends and patterns
