IMI CIB - Equity Cash Sales

Scope and Purpose

Position is within Intesa Sanpaolo's Corporate & Investment Banking division, in the Global Markets area. The person that fits the correct profile will help the team to develop the desk franchise, in line with IMI CIB client's or Intesa's needs. As part of the role the candidate will be in close contact with trading, research department, legal & compliance, marketing department, back and middle office desks.

Required experience

• A minimum of 5 years in an investment banking institution or financial market link institution
• Equities knowledge will be considered necessary
• Strong numerical, verbal and written communication skills and excellent computer literacy
• Established franchise of acquired client basis in Europe

Competencies required

• Strong financial and IT skills.
• English fluency - French would also be appreciated.
• A good team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Commercial attitude.
• Analytical skills with attention to detail.
• MS Office suite, Bloomberg, Reuters, OMS and EMS software knowledge will be appreciated.
• Suitable backgrounds include professionals who have a vast experience in financial institutions.
•  Good understanding of financial transactions.
• Ability to mantain and create new relationship with Institutional Investors and Corporate clients, sale research and execution
• Execution of stock & listed cash equity orders for clients
• Work closely with trading, capital markets, research, economics, and market strategy professionals to respond to client needs
• Understand clients’ investment objectives, overall portfolios, relevant market exposures and relative value considerations.
